In 2020 we had over 100 craft stalls, bespoke handmade goods, garden suppliers, local food vendors, and FREE entertainment for the children. The Pleasant Point Lions Club yet again brought the Vintage & Classic car show to town with a sprinkling of Mustangs to boot.
Get to the Point continued to host Gymkhana Shears, one of the South Island’s largest shearing prize pools, which was so important after so many
A & P shows cancelled last year. We had Highland dancing, dog trials, vintage traction engine rides, steam train and rail car rides from our historic railway station, helicopter rides, live music, and entertainment shows all day by our roving magician and balloonist.
Free children’s amusement rides included water rollers, bumper boats, miniature pony rides, bouncy castles, and face painting, as well as our reinstated Pleasant Point tug-o-war competition.
Registrations for market stalls and food vendor sites will be available on 1st July 2021.
