Get to the Point continues to host Gymkhana Shears, one of the South Island’s largest shearing prize pools. We have Highland dancing, dog trials, vintage traction engine rides, steam train and rail car rides from our historic railway station, helicopter rides, live music, and entertainment all day by our roving entertainer.

Free children’s amusement rides include bouncy castles, slides, miniature pony rides, and face painting, as well as our popular Pleasant Point tug-o-war competition
